Ambiente 2017: trendtour & trendbook

In februari our students always visit Ambiente in the Messe Frankfurt.

We proudly present the Trend Book of Ambiente 2017.

Nine ambitious students from International Lifestyle Studies a bachelor program at the Fontys Academy for Creative Industries in Tilburg, the Netherlands. The program focuses on trend research and concept development.

The junior professional researchers specialise in spotting changes in society. Based on the insights this research provides, they develop future proof products and services that aim to improve the quality of life.

In the months prior to Ambiente, they carried out extensive research on trends in general and in the living industry in particular. This resulted in the five trends presented in this Trend Book. In every chapter you will find another trend with a brief description that explains what the trend entails and where it comes from. Each trend is accompanied by a mood board, a color chart, materials and shapes in which the trend manifests itself. You will also find three design examples of the trend.

The new crew is already working on book 2018.
