THE FLOOR IS YOURS | LIEKE VAN WILPEN
Our new Alumni of the Month is Lieke van Wilpen, graduated in 2016 and taking over the workfield rapidly. In this column, “the floor is yours”, Lieke takes the chance to present her core business to a broader audience.
Lieke is CEO of her own agency in concept development and project management, co-founded in June 2015. The agency is called Haven & Monder, which is an ‘old Dutch’ translation of purposefully succeeding. This refers to studious research as the indispensable base of creating new products and services for their clients and pursuing the improvement of quality of life for the target group that they focus on.
Haven & Monder can be seen as a creative consultant. They support their clients by setting up a new service or developing a new product. But also co-creation sessions or trend publications can be take care of. Food makes Lieke’s heart beat faster, but she’s also specialized in living spaces, city development and habitat.

As a graduate of International Lifestyle Studies Lieke has developed several concepts and strategies for companies like Friesland Campina DMV, Bavaria and Van Hoeckel – Partner in Food Care. For the latter, she created a new meal concept for patients who are psychiatric or physical disabled.
Everyone has their own opinion about food and which products they like or not. When in an institute, patients are rarely allowed to speak up about their needs. These patients would like to participate more when it comes to meal decisions. An application system makes it possible for them to compose their own meals, consisting of three components. Because of the usage of images, it is recognisable for most of the clients and won’t it be a very time-consuming activity. Lieke is now searching for institutes that want to run a pilot.
